🎉 Another First Time Pass! Congratulations, James! 🚗💨
Today was a huge day for James — and an even bigger challenge than most.
Not only was it his practical driving test, but there was also a senior examiner accompanying the examiner during the assessment. It would be unrealistic to say there was no pressure. Knowing that every decision and every observation could be scrutinised even more closely naturally adds extra nerves.
But James stayed calm, trusted his training, and delivered exactly what he was capable of.
What makes this pass even more meaningful is that there was a point when I advised him that he wasn’t quite test-ready. Rather than rushing into the exam and hoping for the best, James accepted my recommendation with a positive attitude. We postponed the test, focused on improving the areas that mattered most, and continued working together until he was truly ready.
That decision wasn’t always easy, but today it proved to be the right one.
Passing first time is not just about good driving on the day. It’s about patience, commitment, humility, and trusting the process.
James showed all of those qualities, and I’m genuinely proud of what he has achieved.
