First-Time Pass!

Today is a truly memorable day for me! After six months of lessons, one of my “star pupils” finally took his driving test—and smashed it with a first-time pass! I couldn’t be prouder!

He’s always been such a patient and dedicated learner—listening carefully to instructions, practising consistently, and even putting in extra hours with his dad at home, just as I suggested. His progress has been impressive, and it all paid off today!

He did pick up three minors during the test, mainly due to nerves and not being too familiar with the test area:

1. Forgot to check his blind spot during a hill start

2. Was a bit slow to react when the speed limit changed from 40 to 30

3. Positioning wasn’t ideal at a roundabout

But honestly, these are just minor slip-ups, and they didn’t take away from his solid driving skills. Seeing him grow from a complete beginner to confidently passing his test today is exactly why I love this job—it’s moments like these that make it all worth it!

I’m absolutely chuffed to bits for him—what a fantastic achievement! Looking forward to seeing even more of my learners hit the road with confidence.
